Looking Back – AH’s Afrika Korps – 1964 – Rodger, Thanks for the banner on AFRIKA KORPS. This was one of my first operational wargames when I was in HS. It was a pretty good game and my copy was pretty worn out after numerous playing. For a long time, it was the best game I had on the North African front and the Operation Compass variant greatly enhanced play value. Thanks for bringing up good memories – Johannson Tee

Hi Johannson,
Yes, like you I was in high school when I first played “Afrika Korps”. I received both “AK” and “Stalingrad” for my birthday (I can remember the day like it was yesterday.
Those two games were so exciting for me back then. I played them as often as I could. I never dreamed that some day I would work on the sequel to “Stalingrad” and design the packaging art for AH’s “The Russian Campaign” in 1976
